PAKISTAN LOGISTICS UPDATE

Dear Valued Customers and Partners,

Further to our update yesterday, we would like to provide the latest update regarding the ongoing nationwide goods transporters strike in Pakistan.

Following unsuccessful negotiations between the Federal Government and transporters in Islamabad, transport leaders have announced that the strike will continue until their demands are formally addressed by the authorities.

The strike, which commenced on 8 August, is being observed by several transport bodies, including the All Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance and other freight associations.

Key demands include:

* Uniform implementation of axle-load regulations across Pakistan

* Permission for 10-wheel trucks to carry up to 35 tonnes

* Reduction in diesel prices

* Reduction in toll taxes and withholding tax

* Amendments to customs regulations concerning vehicle seizures

As a result, cargo movement has been disrupted in various parts of the country, with port-related transportation and cargo movement, including activities around Port Qasim and Karachi port, also reportedly experiencing some impact at CFS and warehouses located in industrial areas.

WWGC continues to closely monitor the situation. At present, our operations remain under active observation, and we will keep our customers and partners informed of any significant developments or operational impacts.

We appreciate your continued cooperation and understanding.
